We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mrs. Mazida Soroor, a brilliant actress who made significant contributions to the development of theater and cinema in Afghanistan. She passed away at the age of 75 earlier this week in Toronto.

 

We extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, Afghan-Canadian community and all our fellow Afghans. May she rest in peace!
