Ottawa: July 23, 2023

Afghan Canadian Youth Council (ACYC) opened its official branch in Cornwall, Ontario on July 6th. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Council and other officials and members of the Council from different parts of the Province of Ontario.

Friends of Afghanistan and provincial parliament members of Karnwal region also participated in the meeting.

Mr. Muhammad Azim Wardag and Mr. Syed Abid Hashmi participated in this program on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Mr. Wardag spoke about the importance of establishing a council, cooperating with Afghan youth in Canada and utilizing opportunities available in different areas in this country.
