Ambassador Hassan Soroosh tele-met with Ambassador Deborah Lyons, the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan and Head of UNAMA. The two sides discussed the COVID-19 pandemic, the Afghan peace process, women’s empowerment as well as the ongoing and future collaboration between Afghanistan, Canada and the United Nations.
