AMBASSADOR HASSAN SOROOSH MET WITH THE HONORABLE MR. MICHAEL KRAM, MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT AT THE EMBASSY

OTTAWA: MAY 3, 2023

Earlier this week, Ambassador Hassan Soroosh met with the Honorable Mr. Michael Kram, Member of Parliament at the Embassy of Afghanistan in Ottawa.

They discussed the current humanitarian crisis and human rights situation in Afghanistan as well as the ongoing humanitarian, resettlement and advocacy efforts by Canada in support of the people of Afghanistan.

Ambassador Soroosh expressed his gratefulness for the continued commitment of the government of Canada and friends of Afghanistan within the Parliament to the people of Afghanistan.

Mr. Azim Wardak, Deputy Chief of Mission also attended the meeting.
