Earlier on X, Ambassador Hassan Soroosh expressed his gratefulness for Canada’s sustained support in various areas and for today's "strong statement standing by the people of Afghanistan particularly women and girls as we continue to struggle for an inclusive, representative, stable and peaceful future for our country."
